Today I am going to review the Beauty Uk Quad for you guys. I haven't been posting much on my blog because I lost my camera cord and finally found it last night so here is the post :)

First Shade: 

Its a shimmery white shade. Its not a stark white and has a yellow gold tinge to it. It provides a very pretty shimmery highlight. Great for night time parties or just to add a little pop of shimmer to any eye look.

Second Shade:

This one is an ultra shimmery Silver that seem to have a lilac blue base. It a very cool toned color. Perfect for the new years :p

Third Shade:

This shade is in between a shimmery charcoal black and a Slate Gray. Its not as shimmery as the other colors. Out of all the shades in the quad i find this the most easiest to work with since its not as shimmery. This shadow also has silver glitter in it but its not too overwhelming.

Forth Shade:

This one is a gorgeous navy shade with a navy blue sheen. Its so pretty and gorgeous but it SCREAMS fallout! That is one thing I really hate about this shade other than that it is amazing and has really good Color payoff.

 The Look:
This is the look I came up with when experimenting with this quad. I did glam it up a little bit by adding a little bit of glitter.I applied the Silver on my lid and the Navy in my outer corner and the Gray in the crease. I topped it off with the White shimmery shade as my highlight. I applied a little glitter to the lid by applying a dash of glitter adhesive on my lid and then applying the glitter with a flat synthetic brush. For mascara I applied my Tarte lights camera lashes Mascara to frame my eyes with a beautiful set of bold and dramatic lashes.

What I think about the product: 

This is the first time I used Beauty Uk eyeshadows. I didn't have any kind of expectations from them because they are a drugstore brand and their prices are fairly cheap so I didn't really expect much. When I got these shadows in the mail I was kind of disappointed because once I held the quad in my hand I realized how cheap the packaging was. Cheap not as in it was tacky but cheap as in the quality. The moment I opened it the lid popped of and I was stunned and was ready to arrange a return for the product but the moment I swatched the navy blue shadow on my hand I was amazed at how good the quality was. A whole lot better than the packaging for sure.

These shadows do come with the fallout factor though they don't have fallout as bad as the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol.III. They have amazing pigmentation. They also stay put for a good few hours. I have noticed that they blend very well. the navy and Gray blended so well with the lid color. 

Would I Recommend:

I would recommend this quad for make-up beginners because it is very inexpensive and is good quality. Though fallout might be an issue but there is nothing a baby wipe cant fix :p

Hey guys,

So today I am going to do my long awaited Manly palette review. I got this palette a while back but I was just so busy with school that I didn’t get around to reviewing it.

Manly 120 Eyeshadow Palette Review

     This palette was sent to me for reviewing by colorfulonline.com. At first I wasn’t very sure about it so I had to check out many video reviews of manly palettes on Youtube. I saw a couple of them and I was quite impressed. This palette has really good color pigmentation and I am really impressed by how many colors are actually provided in this palette. They range from light to dark and shimmer to matte.

It reminds me of the BHcosmetics 120 palette. Best thing about the palette is that the colors are not chalky. They are very smooth and apply easily.

This palette also contains a few M.A.C eye shadow dupes including M.A.C’s Chrome Yellow which is a bright matte yellow.

One bad thing is that they do tend to fade away quickly if you don’t use an eye shadow primer.

Impressive right? I personally have only used the nail varnish in the color Cotton Candy which is a beautiful color. Its perfect for the upcoming season. I bought it online for £2.49 and the shipping was great too. For the price I paid i think it was a good deal. Cotton Candy nail polish was my first ever buy from BeautyUK cosmetics and i just love it. I am planning on getting the whole line they have to offer and i know its alot but honestly i am just so in love with their products that i have to get more. If you are intrested in getting all of their products it will cost you around £178 or Rs:24,742.
