The Creation Quad - The Quad I Created Myself!

Hey Guys,
Recently I was experimenting with color pigments and decided to make my own eye shadows. I have wanted to have my own makeup brand ever since I have gotten into makeup. Finally I have some time on my hand so I can actually experiment with making shadows and all that good stuff.
I made these 4 eyeshadows a couple days ago. This Quad was just an experiment but after I posted the pictures on my facebook page I saw a pretty positive response so I decided to post a detailed review on my blog.

The Eyeshadows:
This quad contains four shadows. Sand dune, Bloody Mary, Velvet Gold and Purple Dusk.

Sand Dune:
This shade is the lightest shade in this quad. It is a super shimmery highlight shade. What I like about this shadow is that it is not stark white, its more of a light sandy beige shade. It can be used as a browbone highlight, inner corner highlight and also as a face highlighter.

Bloody Mary:
It is a true blood red shade. It is shimmery and personally I think its a very unique color. I don't have anything like this in my collection. It works great as a sultry crease color as well as a dramatic lid color.

Velvet Gold:
This is my one of most used color from this Quad. Its a gold shade which actually reminds me of liquid gold. It doesn't have a yellow undertone. Its not specifically an orange undertone either but it definitely falls in the same neighbourhood.

Purple Dusk:
This shadow is my favourite from this Quad. Its a very unique shade. Its a black with a reddish purple undertone. Its perfect to make any look dramatic or it can be used as a liner aswell.

My thoughts:
Since I did make this quad myself I don't wanna brag about its awesome-ness. Honestly this quad does contain some unique shadows. Its pigmentation is also very good. I feel like the colors glide on very easily and blend out very nicely.

If you people are interested in this palette leave it in the comments and I might think about making some of these quads for you guys!

Hope you guys liked this post.

Urban Decay Primer Potion: Its a very good primer. It provides a good base to eye shadows. It dries clear.

Fruity Summer Lips

Hey guys,
Have you ever noticed how much attention we pay toward our eye makeup but never too much toward our lips? Its either the nude peach or the bold red. Well today i decided to share with you my summer lip combo. Now I am the kinda person who doesn't care whether nudes are in or bolds. I just like to do what my heart says :)
Bare Lips.
Now this is what I call a Luscious Lip!

So I use four colors for this lip combo.

Red Earth Disco Angel Lipgloss in Ruby Jewel,
Luscious Lip Couture in En Vouge,
Art Deco Hydra Lip Booster in No.55 and
Flormar True Color Holographic Glossy Splash Lipgloss in No.03
How to:

  1. First I applied Luscious Lip Couture in En Vouge as a base.
  2. Then i topped it off with Art Deco Hydra Lip Booster in No.55
  3. To the center of my lips i applied Flormar True Color Holographic Glossy Splash Lipgloss in No.03 for a pouty lip.
  4. Last but not the least I applied Red Earth Disco Angel Lipgloss in Ruby Jewel to the outer corner to add to the pout effect.

M.A.C Viva Glam.IV Review + Swatch

Hey Guys,
I got myself this lipstick some while back and decided to review it. Its by M.A.C from their Viva Glam collection. I am a huge fan of M.A.C lipsticks especially their smell which is YUMMY! However, I am not a huge fan of this lipstick in particular.
The Viva Glam.IV is a dark burgundy red colored lipstick and to top it off its a frost so its not really all that wearable.

I am more of a neutral lips kinda person so i did not really like this lipstick. The frostiness of this lipstick just makes it look like i dabbed a whole lot of silver eye shadow on my lips and that just brings too much attention towards the lips.

The only way i can make this lipstick work is when I apply a clear gloss on top of it. Otherwise its just too UGH.

The texture of the lipstick though is what i like best about it. Its not too moisturizing so it does not bleed off nor is it too dry so that it tugs on my lips while applying.

I hope you guys liked this review.

Manly Palette Review.

Manly Palette Review
Hey guys,
So today I am going to do my long awaited Manly palette review. I got this palette a while back but I was just so busy with school that I didn’t get around to reviewing it.

Manly 120 Eyeshadow Palette Review
This palette was sent to me for reviewing by colorfulonline.com. At first I wasn’t very sure about it so I had to check out many video reviews of manly palettes on Youtube. I saw a couple of them and I was quite impressed. This palette has really good color pigmentation and I am really impressed by how many colors are actually provided in this palette. They range from light to dark and shimmer to matte.
It reminds me of the BHcosmetics 120 palette. Best thing about the palette is that the colors are not chalky. They are very smooth and apply easily.
Both sides of the palette
This palette also contains a few M.A.C eye shadow dupes including M.A.C’s Chrome Yellow which is a bright matte yellow.
First side of the pallete
One bad thing is that they do tend to fade away quickly if you don’t use an eye shadow primer.

Second side of the palette
PROS:
Cheap, inexpensive palette
Great for beginners
Good pigmentation
Wide color range
Smooth application
A few of my favorite colors from the palette

Cons:
Color don’t last very long.
With primer and Without primer difference

Hope you guys like my review.

Brand Review: BeautyUK

Hey Guys,
You all might already be aware of the infamous BeautyUK. This is a brand based in the UK.In todays post i am going to tell you a little about their new line.
The BeautyUK's new line consists of false lashes, baked eye shadows and blushers, nail polishes, lipsticks, lip lust, mascaras and pearl eyeliner.

Now this is what their own blog says about the new line.

Baked Blushers and Baked Eyeshadows

  • Lightweight and rich in pigment, baked blushers and eye shadows are ‘must-haves’ for your make up collection this Spring/Summer.
  • Sheer in texture, the baked powders are perfect for building up colour, with no cracking or crumbling – allowing you to intensify your look with several sweeps of your brush.
  • Avoid looking ‘cakey’ this season and opt for these dome-shaped powders, which will allow for an even application, leaving you with the ultimate smooth finish.
  • You can choose from 5 different colours of baked blushers and 6 baked eyeshadows, each retailing at £3.99.

Pearl Eyeliner

  • Applied in the same way as any normal liquid eyeliner, these pearl eyeliners dry like no other; providing you with a unique pearlescent finish and fitting with the opalescent Spring/Summer 11 trends.
  • Available in 8 shimmering shades, each retailing at £3.49.

Lipstick

  • Our brand new, subtly Mint flavoured lipsticks that give you either a wet or dry look. The ‘wet’ gives you the ultra gloss look, whilst the ‘dry’ gives a super matte finish for those looking for intense colour.
  • Selecting your shade is easy as the actual lipstick is injected inside the lid – enabling you to see the real colour at first glance.
  • 11 shades to choose from, each retailing at £3.49.

Mascara

  • The dryer formula helps you to build up the product for striking eyes. Applying after lashes have been curled provides maximum results.

  • Retails at £3.99.

False Lashes

  • With 4 types of false eyelashes to choose from, instantly transform your lashes to match your mood.
  • Each retails at £3.99.

  • Lightly scented and richly pigmented, and offering superb coverage - this diverse selection of lip-glosses will bring a new dimension to any look.
  • Flavoured with papaya, mint or strawberry and applied with a soft and svelte applicator.
  • Available in 11 gorgeous shades at £2.99 each.

6 x new nail varnish colours

  • Last but not least we're pleased to introduce our 6 stunning new nail varnish colours!
  • (Left to right/top to bottom) Frozen Kingdom, Cotton Candy, Aztec, Voodoo, Gun Metal and Golden Chestnut
  • Available online now in Salon Professional size for £2.49
  • Coming April 13th to Glam Nails for £1.99

Impressive right? I personally have only used the nail varnish in the color Cotton Candy which is a beautiful color. Its perfect for the upcoming season. I bought it online for £2.49 and the shipping was great too. For the price I paid i think it was a good deal. Cotton Candy nail polish was my first ever buy from BeautyUK cosmetics and i just love it. I am planning on getting the whole line they have to offer and i know its alot but honestly i am just so in love with their products that i have to get more. If you are intrested in getting all of their products it will cost you around £178 or Rs:24,742.

Would I Recommend This Brand?
Heck Yeah! i would definitely recommend this brand to all the makeupaholics out there.

I simply love BeautyUK what about you?
